Matson, the US container shipping company, on January 11 announced preliminary financial results for the fourth quarter. Matson expects its fourth-quarter profit to at least double fivefold, thanks to a big increase in container traffic on the high-speed China Link Express (CLX) route between the US and China.
Specifically, the company expects $100 million to $105 million in shipping revenue for the fourth quarter of 2020, compared to $17.8 million for the fourth quarter of 2019.

Evergreen Marine also announced revenue for the fourth quarter of 2020.
